Q: Tell us about you and your role within the SSU:

A: I am Charity Obasuyi, a second-year student enrolled in Social Service Program. I am currently completing my practicum at the SSU. My role is to assist the President and the Executive Team, in advocacy and enhancing the student experience.

Q: What are some of your goals for your role this year?

A: One of my goals is to acquire as much experience as possible during my practicum to secure gainful employment as a Social Service Worker after graduation. As an international student, I understand that employers in Canada often prioritize Canadian experience, so I will capitalize on this opportunity to enhance my skills. I am eager to take every chance to learn, grow, and support my peers through the SSU.
