Here’s what you need to know about Entrepreneurship & Me: The Beginnings of My Entrepreneurship Journey
The event is happening at the HMC Student Centre (C-Wing, 1st Floor) from 12 pm - 3 pm on May 22.
This event also includes a mixer, hosted by Enactus Sheridan in collaboration with Sheridan Alumni, Afro-Caribbean Business Network, and HSBC! They will be serving snacks and beverages, and students will have access to a networking opportunity with the panelists!
Meet Your Panelist:
Becky Collins (Business Admin Accounting ‘03) and Kate Palermo (Advertising and Marketing Communications ’15). Directors/Owners Dance District
Emily Baker (Public Relations Corporate Communications ’20) and Madeline MacNeil (Public Relations Corporate Communications ’20). Co-Founders, The Olfactory Lab. The Olfactory Lab is a creative space where scent meets psychology, offering non-toxic, hand-poured candles made from coconut-soy wax and featuring a wooden wick, premium fragrance oils and a seed paper candle cover.
Lauren DeSouza, Co-founder of Ace Interview Prep, a communication skills training platform that helps job seekers to feel prepared and confident. She is a previous winner of the Sauga Pitch 2023 and Pitch with a Twist 2023 competitions and is now preparing for Ace's public launch, where the platform will serve thousands of job seekers globally.
Chris-Beth Cowie, Founder of Empowered 4x: Chris-Beth Cowie is a Leading Social Impactor, Mentor, Speaker, Entrepreneurship Instructor-Business Advisor. In 2014 Empowered for Excellence was a reality, an entrepreneurial leadership training company.
